Thanks everyone for the feedback. Additionally, we have received over 200 emails from EAA members about the changes in the magazine. Overall, the response has exceeded our most optimistic hopes.
The main piece of negative feedback has been about the type size being too small. We will be increasing the font size beginning with the March issue. (We were too far into production to make a complete changeover in February, but incorporated some improvements where we could.)
There were also some comments that the larger magazine is too “floppy,” and we are putting a heavier cover on the next issue, which will help a lot.
Richard,"WOMB" is a very popular feature. I think the number of aircraft in there is more related to the ebb and flow of submissions than to any change in philosophy or priority. I know we have been a bit light on submissions recently and the WOMB editor Dana Heimos has been making some calls for content (you can find this as a "Sticky" notice at the top of the "Homebuilder's Corner" forum).
You are the second person that has used the phrase "Bravo Zulu" in feedback this week. I had never seen it before, but an ex-Navy colleague explained the meaning! Thankyou!
