Hal - WHERE do you find this sruff? Gotta give the guy credit for having the guts to act that way in public, but notice how everyone totally ignores him! Gotta say something about today's society.....
Cheers,

Sometimes, like in this case, it finds us!
It's wacky, but you're right ... there's a certain courage to it!
I noticed that too, everyone ignoring him .... I'm surprised they weren't all face down in their cell phones, texting!

Hal,
T.V. John is a bit strange, but it's kinda nice that people just keep minding their own business so to speak. It says something about tolerance and freedom of expression even if the guy is a little nutty, he isn't hurting anybody with his flapping around. My guess is there a more of those types "flying" around then we want to admit. He good for a smile, thanks for the post!

Joe -
"My guess is there a more of those types "flying" around then we want to admit." - I think I'm one of them, at least a third of the time ...!
Thanks for appreciating it in the spirit in which was intended, and for once again finding and reinforcing the positive; you made it impossible for me to remain cranky about the Jaguar / Harrier art exhibit with your upbeat comments in that thread!

Thanks Hal,
I have some insight into the "Art Thing", my wife has always had that interest it's something like our passion for things with wings. Even if your not into it some of it rubs off if your around it long enough. I couldn't help but think of an award winning aircraft with this really fancy paint scheme. If I remember it was on a Lancair, the guy must have been into scfi, it had all this weird stuff done in really deep colors. It must have taken months to do. When someone puts that kind of time and effort into a project it is really about his own satisfaction. If other people like it that is just a re-affirmation of his creation. As for T.V. John, well there are a lot of people out in utube land with video cameras chasing after their 30 second of fame. His stuff was just harmless fun pretty tame compared to some of the things out on the web.
Keep Smiling,
Joe
