That is great, thanks for posting it.  I sure wish he could've gotten it certified and into production.  What twin today will do 180 to 190kts on 15gph, 30 years after the Defiant first flew?

I hope Rutan isn't the last great, successful dreamer/engineer in aviation.  He has really done some extraordinary stuff.  It would be great to work with him

Great Video!

 

When I was just little kid Burt and his dad would fly up to Omaha from Newton, KS and attend some of the fly-in events my grandfather had at his property. Burt ended up being a good friend of my grandfathers.
