We know that many of you are unable to attend AirVenture 2009, and instead rely on the online Internet feed of EAA Radio  for your live, up-to-date convention information.

We'd love to hear from you. What do you think, and where are you listening from? Let us know here in this thread.

Here are a few folks who have emailed us already:

I’m listening from Hendersonville, NC. Been coming to AirVenture since 1986. - Anthony P

Hi, I am listening in Brisbane Australia. Have been to AirVenture in 04,06 ,08 and hope to be back next year. All the best for 2009. Kind regards, Grant W.

I'm listening from Columbus, OH. I'm originally from Oshkosh, and my son and I come back every other year for EAA, as it conflicts with another favorite trip of ours (whitewater rafting with his Scout troop). This is our off year, so I'm listening from afar and wishing I was there for the excitement. - David

Listening from Lascassas, TN and looking forward to listening during AirVenture. – Bill B

Radio stream working fine July 18th, 2009, KDVT - VE5AEA

Listening from York Harbor Maine! My daughter and I made it to AirVenture in 2005, 2006, and 2007! camped at Scholler for the full week. I can't say enough good about the EAA community. Thanks. Are hearts are in Oshkosh next week! Bob and Kaitlyn Dow

My fiancé and I have flown into Oshkosh for three air shows in the past. We have missed being at the show every year since our last trip. We purposely stopped over for a day in 2007 on our trip to deliver my airplane to its new owner in Seattle. We'll be watching and listening from Acton, Maine. - EAA 1210

Listening from EAA "Razorback Chapter" #1388 in Pine Bluff, AR. I've never been but have my eyes set on flying our Navion in for AirVenture 2010. Thanks for the great service of online radio to help those of us stuck at home "get our fix"! - Shane Free

I'm sitting in my office in Pekin, IL. My flying buddies and I hope to see everyone at AirVenture 2009 on Saturday, Aug. 1. Keep up the good work! - Greg Neaveill, EAA member 854084

Listening in Pennsylvania Furnace, PA. Looking to another Oshkosh. Been coming most every year since about 4 years at Rockford! It has been a long time family event. - Joseph L.

Listening from Stillwater, MN.  Flying to AirVenture from Lake Elmo, MN (21D) Wednesday morning.  Thanks for streaming EAA Radio!  I caught the last fifteen minutes of Chuck Yeager's talk this afternoon.  What a treat!  Still flying the occasional F-16 at age 84.  Amazing!

Hi I am listening from Sydney Australia...

Having been involved in volunteering on the tarmac at the Australian International Airshow for over 20 years I have been looking forward to getting to Oshkosh AirVenture for years..

I have been listening with keen interest  and it sounds like you are having so much fun  that in a fit of impulsiveness a friend and I have decided to join you. We depart SYD on Thursday morning and will be onsite at OSH on Friday morning. 23 hours and some 10,000 miles later. We are looking forward to meeting you all!
