I just logged in to watch the cameras and listen to liveatc.net when I heard the controller say something about going around and that the airport is closed.
I then saw several ambulances heading south.. with everyone looking there..
I have a sick feeling :( I hope everything is ok.

It was a citation jet. I saw it on the webcam attempting to land then it looked like it was attempting a go around. Next thing on the webcam was photographers running and rescue vehicles. Hope everyone is ok.

It was actually a Raytheon 390 Premier 1 Tail number N6JR owned by Roush Fenway Racing.

any more updates and info.... like what was going on when it happened?
I was listening/watching last evening ~ 6:00 CST and the pace of arrivals was amazing. Several aircraft wandered over 27 approach on the way in to 18..... controllers were really pitching up their voices . Not having access to the venue over the weekend really pushed arrivals into a narrow window.
Having both ACT on audio was impossible to listen to.

This is all we know for certain at this point:

I was at osh today and heard a cub declare an emergency and land runway 9 against the traffic. He said his prop hit another plane. Anyone hear what the other plane was and what happened to it and did the cub make it in ok and how was his plane?

Yes, I heard the cub declare an emergency. I could make out the words "collision" and "prop" but that was all. The cub was directed to 9 and other aircraft on approach to 27 were directed to contact the south tower for 18. This was sometime during mid morning. I did hear the pilot of the cub come back on and thank ATC after regular operations resumed on 27. Wondering what happened?

Sounds busy up there guys. Be careful, I've been on AOL news and you don't want to read the comments from the misinformed masses. I wish I were there though.

I have been on a bunch of forums where people SHOULD know better, and I am angry and appalled.
Regardless of the ultimate findings, many of the comments involving this crash on PILOT websites have been not only ignorant, but flat rude.

Mr. Roush has done so very much for many sectors of aviation.
I wish him a speedy recovery and a quick return to the cockpit!
