I read on another forum that the DC-3 'Max Effort' yesterday ended up getting only 4 of the 20-something DC-3's in the air - three for a parachute jump and one lone example in the warbird show. Is this true and if so can someone comment on what happened to the 'Max Effort'?

Not really sure.  Might have to do with the fact that they did have the mass flyover the day before and parking was still an issue.  Don't know though.

Waiting on the Powerball!

Did you not see the 21 DC-3s fly over and land?

The 21-ship fly-over and landing was on Monday - the 'Max Effort' day was scheduled for Tuesday. My question was what happened to the 'Max Effort' that was supposed to occur on Tuesday?
