I'm 60 and no pioneer. I have to admit that the camping thing was a little bit more than I was up to, given my health.  Having said that, I'd like to say that every EAA volunteer and most of the visitors were astoundingly helpful and pleasant. I was so impressed that all these EAA folks were out in the sun and heat, which were severely affecting me, yet they remained so friendly. You guys are the greatest, especially given the stress level caused by the wet grounds and all.

For visitors and campers, who, like me, tend to sweat a lot and are taking medications that reduce the body's ability to deal with the heat, here's a tip: Water is NOT enough. Something with electrolytes, like Pedialyte or Gatorade is a lot better.

Thanks again to the great EAA volunteers and the friendly, helpful campers I was lucky enough to encounter. I hope next time will be as much fun.
