I fly out of the airport where the Aerocomp 9 was built.  I asked the president of the company, Run Lueck, about your questions this morning.

The prototype Aerocomp 9  is not pressurized but the aircraft is designed to be.  The next one, under construction will be pressurized.  The prototype has air conditioning but not pressurization.

The prototype does not have anti-ice but it can be added easily amd that will likely be done later this year.

Aside from the factory there is one now under construction in Brazil.

And yes, Ron says it is a great airplane.  

If you want any more pictures of the prototype.  I can take them for you.  I am over there every day.

Thanks for the info.  I got the attached price sheet from them.  Not a cheap kit. 

Clearly need needs more development and more finished kits to prove it is ready.

I need to get more info on their fast build.  Sure seems expensive.

You are lucky to be on the same field as they are. 

I wonder what their plans are for Sun-n-Fun?

As you probably know after looking at their wsbsite they have a number of designs, with the 9 being their latest.  They also have a pure jet they have only built one of - had a bit of a problem getting reliable engines and they have not done much with it lately since the other designs have been so successful. 

Their large low wing model is intended to be a certfied airplane and they had plans on going into production with it down at Melbourne before the financial meltdown slowed most everything up.

I am sure they will have a large presence at Sun and Fun, as always.
