Calling all Acro Sport builders!
I just had a conversation with Paul Poberezny. He's been contacted by Wicks Aircraft and Acro Sport Inc. regarding the possible development of a builder education program centered around the Acro Sport designs. Paul is looking for builders of Acro Sports who might be interested in participating in such a program.
I don't have any specifics on what the program will entail at this point. I don't know that they're that far along in the development process. But if you are building an Acro Sport design and would be willing to help out with this program, please let me know via Private Message here or via direct email at jnorris @ eaa.org (remove the spaces on either side of the @).
Thanks!
Joe

Joe,
I am building an Acro Sport 2 biplane in New Harmony, Indiana. I have completed nearly all the wing parts and empenage, I have about 800 hours in my log. I have done a lot of woodworking and gas welding on my project.

Joe-- I would be glad to help in any way I can. I have about 1900 hours invested in an Acro Sport II (N2JT) that is about ready for covering. I've done everything myself including all the TIG welding, woodworking, Jig building for the frame and engine mount , lathe and milling machine work. It's fitted with a fresh IO360. Hope to fly this summer. Prior to tthis I built a Wittman Tailwind and did some work on Dom Pellegreno's Fairchild XNQ-1. I live in Ames, Iowa. Jim triplett
