I have a three cylinder Suzuki engine which Joplin Light Aircraft converted to fuel injection and added gear reduction.

The conversion was done in about 1999.

I have been unable to find the manual and Joplin is out of business.

Does anyone know where I could obtain the manual for this conversion?

If you don't have any luck in the Homebuilt forum finding a manual, you might try posting in the ultralight forum.  The engine might be in use ins some ultralights, and there might be someone who has the manual, or at least could give you some information about the engine.

I believe that the Suzuki and Geo Metro used the same engine(s) at various times; there are two active Yahoo groups, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FlyGeo/ and http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FlyGeo/_Uncensored.  Try posting there and see if anyone can help.  I have not been active recently, but they always had a lot on conversions for aircraft use, and on propeller speed reduction drives.  There were also a number of folks who were VERY knowledgeable, "gurus" on these engines.  Good luck!

While I no longer have the manual, I recall noticing that much of the information SEEMED to be taken from the Raven Re-drives manual. Hope this helps!
