I have a number of aircraft design books and compliations of articles, but they all predate the ultralight/microlight movement and the predominant use of large-diameter aluminum tubes and sewn dacron coverings as still used today in designs like the SkyRanger, the simpler Rans designs, etc. Here's a neat time-lapse movie to illustrate the kind of construction I mean.
Does anyone know of any reference books or articles that would be useful in designing aircraft using this type of structure? I am not talking about general design books, but specifically info on bolted/riveted large-diameter tube and sewn dacron sleeve construction.
Cheers,
Matthew

Matthew, I haven't read thru all of this information yet, so I don't
know if there is anything of use to you or not, but it is worth a try.
