Where can I get insurance for a Long-EZ, how much should it cost (ball park), if I have 1200hrs in other types of planes , but 0 in Long-EZ.  I am thinking only libilaty, or the minimum required.

Hi Dennis!

You should be able to get Liability Only Insurance for around $550.  If you go with both Liabiliy Insurance and Hull (Aircraft Physical Damage) Insurance and say have $30,000 for coverage ont he airplane, your insurance should run around $1600.  If you'd like to get a firm quote you can go to www.eaainsurance.org and submit an online quote request.
