What happened to the Eco-Flyer?

I remember a couple years ago looking at the LSA called the Eco-Flyer.  It was a mini-SUV type plane that you could literally camp out of if needed. I was very interested in the concept and was wondering if anything has happened with bringing this plane back on the market. The owner/designer died in a crash of the plane but I still think someone would have tried to keep the project going since in my mind it was a great idea.

Thank you,

Keith

Keith,

I agree!  It looked like a great plane!

Bringing back the Eco-Flyer is on my list of things to do with my lottery winnings. Just as soon as that happens!

I plan on turning a large fortune into....goggles

Sadly, the Ecoflyer went down in New York state, with the president of the company, flying back to Quebec from Sun-n-Fun 2010.  Note sure if the final word has made it into the NTSB database yet.

Google "ecoflyer crash" and you'll find all the details...

Another aircraft called ecoflyer is the Diesel DR400. Now Finch aircraft.

Would love one. Chas.
