greetings all: a change to a metal prop from a wood prop change the taxiing or landing rollout behavior? cg is within limits. (wood prop did move cg rearward.,but still in the approved range)
any one did a similar change on their 1 place biplane and notice a difference in ground handling? or changed from a wood prop to a metal prop and notice a change in ground handling or landing rollout behavior?

I have not personally experienced that issue. But, I am wondering if it is a mass inertia issue. A heavier prop of the same diameter spinning at the same RPM will have more mass inertia.

There is a possibility of needing more corrective rudder when lifting the tail just after touchdown during a wheel landing due to the increased angular momentum of the metal prop. This has only to do with gyroscopic effects.
Assuming your engine is turning CW as see from the rear, that would mean more right rudder as you ease the stick forward.
