Enrico - Thanks for sharing. What is the current status of the project? - Any chance of flying it to AirVenture 2010 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the C-47?

Bill, I was not aware of 2010 being the 75th Anniversary of the C-47 so thanks for the heads up. This may be a great Goal to shoot for. The current status of this C-47 is cleaning up the exterior for a new WW 11 Invasion paint scheme. The next work will be on the cockpit interior. We need to grow our volunteer group, people who love the C-47 and will help put in the time necessary to make this bird fly.
There are a few other C-47/DC-3 aircraft in the Los Angeles area that may get together at Oshkosh in 2010 if we get them together NOW !
