Here is a short cockpit video, taken by my 12 year old daughter Piper as we land Runway 27 at Oshkosh this year.

First trip to Oshkosh for Piper, and she loved it. She kept marveling at seeing her name everywhere.

Ed -

This post shows a nice old airplane, a family enjoying flying, and, most importantly, participating in it together. Because of that, we do hereby name this post our second "Post of the Week!"

Thanks to you and especially to Piper for the contribution!

Sincerely,

Hey Ed,

Is that a angle of attack indexer out on that left wing?

Hi Dave, How's it going? I hope to see you and your Vagabond at Oshkosh next year.

Yes that is an AOA indicator. Was designed and made by Terry O'Neill of Caryle IL. I really enjoy using it, and it's right there in my field of view when doing left hand patterns.

Certainly is nice to see the correct aircraft in a video.
