Hi all,

I just completed my sport pilot flight instructor rating last week, and have a couple of students lined up beginning after the first of the year.  I was wondering what curriculum most instructors were using with their students, and any pluses or minuses of each?  I appreciate any input.

I use Gleim Sport Pilot Kit, and have found it comprehensive and good for any older pilots who are used to using books and not computers. The young guys won't read a book outline, they have to have flash and dash.

Gleim is what my instructor suggested I get as well.

Everything in one box, test prep is both book and electronic, and it's very straight forward.

I liked it a lot - straight forward and easy to understand.

I too like the Gleim method of information transfer to the student. I always suggest the Gleim material because it is thorough and easy to understand, step-by-step material which goes hand in hand with practical instruction. Gleim also has an online Ground School with a certified sign off for those self studiers who can 't find an instructor to give them the endorsement sign off to take the SP Knowledge test.

Well worth the money and the knowledge!
