Hi

Wondering if anyone does any ultralight (2 place) flying in the vegas area.  I've always been curious about ultralights and am going to be in the Vegas area around new years.  I am a pilot SEL with about 200 hrs and would love to opportunity to learn a little about these things....

ken,  this info goes back several years but I knew a guy who had a warehouse out near Henderson and Lake mead where he allowed ultralight pilots to store their planes, (approximately 200).  I have no up to date information, but with this as a starting point, you may strike paydirt.   Try the local EAA org, Henderson chamber or fbo at Hughes field.

Hey Ken,

The location that John is talking about was owned by, a gentleman named Wyatt, he has sold the location a couple of years ago and most of the ultra-lights are scattered around the smaller towns outside of Las Vegas.     I am part of the Pahrump chapter of the EAA, 1160 and I do not know of or have heard of any two seat instructional UL's in this area.
