EAA needs members to test a sheet metal deburring tool "mod".   To volunteer, simply post a reply to this thread.    I’ll be selecting the testers (randomly) on 11/30/09 and closing this thread at that time.  If you are selected, I will send you a private message with the details.

Requirements to participate in this test:

·         You already own a deburring tool like this one:

Deburringtool.jpg

·         You must complete a short product review form after using the product.

·         You must be an EAA member.

·         You get to keep the item after you are done testing it.

We’ll be having other opportunities to test products coming up so keep checking back to www.oshkosh365.org forums for more posts.  You’ll see the outcome of this test work starting in January in Sport Aviation.

Thanks for volunteering,

Charlie Becker

Please count me in.  I have the tool, my RV-7A in progress, and I'm deburring weekly!  Sounds interesting.

Hi Mr. Becker-

As a RV-7A builder, I've modified drill bits, bought jewelers files and wrapped "Sand" paper around various objects for deburring, so anything new I'm interested in.

And yes, I do have the blue handled hand twist deburring tool.

Good Luck with your test program,

-Paul Reeder

I would be glad to evaluate your modified tool. I am a A&P certified mech. with over 25 years in the business and  currently in the process of actively building a Vans RV -10.  So i have thousands of holes to debur both inside and out.

Please let me know and I would be glad to report all findings for you.

Sincerely

John Cumins
