The topic I was putting forth was to insure that a Homebuilder planned these mounts into the build as its going together, rather than an afterthought. My point of concern is in efforts to conserve weight (E-LSA) some people may neglect to have structure to brace a very hard landing without major structural damage that the pilot / seat may fall loose.

I was figuring 20 to 25 G's, survivable body impact with restraints. (Fully admit I did not look it up shocked Doohhh! )

From Daniel Stepp EAA269603,

Some years back I saw a recurring ad in SA about a propellor carving machine. Who knows about the machine, can I still order plans and build it, does it copy an existing propellor, does it use a router???

Some info about proper technique for applying primer might be good. Perhaps something about when the spray cans are a good choice vs. spray guns. How to apply primer safely and so forth.

I am pretty fuzzy on the selection  and installation of Dzus fasteners.  I do understand what the collars/bushings are for, but the installation seems tricky.  Any help?

I'd like to see a video presentation on bending metal in a brake. A clear concise explanation of bend radius, bend tangency lines, how to effect the correct radius, etc.

Judging from the number of questions we got on fuel tank construction this year at AV, I think a complete article on the construction techniques is needed. Laying out welds, best joint types, how to install baffles, sealing rivets, installing bungs, forming tank ends and all of that.  Heck id even help!!

I like the videos on fabric, the one on working fabric around a curve was very helpful. How about one on fabric in a 90 degree corner, both inside and outside?

I'm currently in A&P school, so if anyone has any question I'd be glad to help.
